Construction & Pricing
How is the construction cost per sq.ft calculated?
We multiply the total built-up area by the package rate (₹1,750 – ₹2,950 per sq.ft) and adjust for city. Compound wall, sump, lift or solar are quoted as extras so the base price stays transparent.
Are your contractors verified?
Every contractor passes KYC, GST and licence checks, a site audit of two past projects and customer reference calls before they are listed on Akon Buildpro.
How do I pay for my project?
You pay in stage-linked milestones (booking, foundation, slabs, brickwork, MEP, finishing, handover) into an escrow-style account. Money is released only after our engineer verifies each stage.
Do you help with building plan approvals?
Yes. Our architects prepare the drawings and our liaison team files for approval with the local body (BBMP, GHMC, CMDA, PMC and others).
What warranty do I get?
Structural warranty runs 5 to 15 years depending on the package, with 1 year on finishes and waterproofing warranty of 5 years on all packages.
Can I use my own contractor with Akon Buildpro?
Yes. Your contractor can join as a partner after verification, and you still get our design, QA checks and payment protection.
Do you build outside the listed cities?
For projects above 3,000 sq.ft we build within 80 km of our city desks. Contact us for other locations.
How are delays handled?
Every agreement has a delay penalty clause. If we miss the handover date for reasons within our control, we pay a per-week penalty.
Warranty & After-Sales
What does the structural warranty cover?
Columns, beams, slabs and foundations against design or workmanship defects for 5–15 years depending on package.
How do I raise a warranty claim?
Raise a request in the app or on the contact page with photos. An engineer inspects within 72 hours.
Is waterproofing covered?
Yes, terrace and bathroom waterproofing carries a 5-year leak-free warranty on all packages.
